So I’m heading back to Bend tomorrow to host the “Shred with Laurenne” camp at Bachelor (begins on Saturday). I’m teaming up with Mt. Bachelor, Shred, Atomic and The Race Place to put on the camp. Ted Ligety is also joining me for the weekend, so there will definitely be some speed and ripping involved. We’re going to set up some GS gates, but it’s up to the campers whether we train or free ski…. either way, we’re gonna tear it up.
There are two separate weekends of Shred camp….first weekend with Ted is full, but there are a few spots left in weekend #2. Check it out here. You can also get the details on my website: laurenneross.com
Shred and Atomic are giving out some free gear at the camp, and spots are limited (12 per weekend), so most everybody will take home some sweet swag: junior helmets, goggles, Atomic all-mountain skis, shirts, hats, and more.
THANK YOU to SHRED, MT. BACHELOR, ATOMIC, and THE RACE PLACE! Check out the details and come rip with me, Ted and Shred over the next two weekends at Mt Bachelor!!!
my helmet design from last season….
some Shred shades that I love…

short update:
Tuff season start! Three days ago I almost died. Thx to Steve, CK and Beckna for telling us that a barbed wire fence was crossing our landing! I was shocked when I saw the two meter metal poles 10cm under the snow!
I had some intense days with Grilo so I rested two days before I drove to Zillertal on Sunday! The thing with resting days is that the pain is coming out! So I had already back pain when I got to Zillertal and on the first day shooting I twisted again my back super bad so that I had to ride and jump with super back pain! So my body is kind of fucked now and I need some more resting days and some therapy!
Thx to Werni, Christian, Mau and Justin for some nice but intense three days!
stay tuned!
Here are some pics of the kicker and the landing area that had the metal stakes and barbed wire… ohhh boy, Marco Feichtner, you one lucky SOB!
It’s been a while since I’ve been updating you… Not much time in front of the computer, instead tons of time spending outdoors in the mountains… So a lot of things happened…
Recently I just came back from a film/fototrip from Morocco… It’s been a blast, so many impressions in such a short period of time… There’s a video coming out in autumn, so I’ll keep you posted about that… As the story also will be published in various Ski magazines just a glimpse…
Finally the video of my skisponsors teamweek, where I’m also part of it, is online…
It’s April now and thank goodness there is still lots of snow in the mountains… Just got 20 cm fresh yesterday… So what to do? Of course, SHREDDING ![]()
Here some impressions from the day…
Hiked a pretty impressive colouir the other day – here’s the video how it was…
Enjoy the rest of the winter! Summer will be here soon…
Take care and all the best,
Mel:-)
