Shred translator, Emanuel Testen sends his submission that’s a tick different than most. He took the time to do some digital art. Good luck Emi.

You want to submit your own image to the photo contest and have the chance to win a Shred helmet & goggles, as well as a Slytech back protector? Just submit it here: http://whyweshred.com/why-i-shred-photo-contest/

Your Name – Emanuel Testen
What of the 3 Themes? – Forgot/ Wish
Location the Images was Shot – Matrei in Osttirol – Austria
Who Is in This Picture? – me, Ted
Describe Your Image – couldn’t decide which pic I should post – so I combined them ;) I’m a big fan of Ted – he’s my idol. I love to SHRED – but I really need a back protector. Safety is always one of the most important things – but FIS really s*cks. Ted’s totally right: “FIS is stubborn and clueless”. let’s stop the ignorance of FIS! ;) I wish everyone good luck for the photo contest, ski fast and carefully. Happy shredding :) greetings Emi

Stephan works with the SHRED and SLYTECH team and loves to ski, surf, sup and windsurf.

After going home to Park City for 5 days over Xmas, I thought I was going to get some productive training in Soelden to prep for Adelboden and the rest of January. No such “luck”, it snowed a ton in the days before I got there and while we were there making training useless. No complaints though instead we skied epic powder, might not be the best for race prep but after seeing no snow in PC it was nice to use the fat boards and have some fun. The fun continued after the race in Adelboden which as it turns out is an awesome mountain, they just don’t like it when you ski in the trees. Opps. Below is some of the fun taken from my GoPro.

Ted loves to Shred. He's an Olympic Gold Medalist and World Champion ski racer, all-mountain ripper and loves to push his body's limits.
